Video Analysis is conducted using V1 pro software. With the aid of this technology, both the Instructor and the student can review the swing as captured on video.
The swing can be played back in slow motion from various angles allowing the Instructor to pin-point possible faults and explain to the student the pro’s and con’s within their individual technique.
Swings will also be compared split screen (as seen in image) giving the student a clear vision of desired club and body positions. Still shots from each lesson are emailed to the student to help track progress and serve as a study gide for practice sessions.
Our primary goal is to help juniors develop a lifelong interest in the game of golf. Our well-rounded program will consist of instruction, activities and observance of rules and etiquette.

The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
The Golf Courses of Kenton County are proud to announce its partnership with “The First Tee” program of greater Cincinnati. Established in 1997, “The First Tee” has a goal of impacting the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life- enhancing values through the game of golf.
To date, “The First Tee” has touched the lives of over 3 million young people worldwide and continues to grow. The First Tee has established nine core values that represent some of the many inherently positive values connected with the game of golf: Honesty • Integrity • Sportsmanship • Respect • Confidence • Responsibility • Perseverance • Courtesy • Judgment
Each week, participants learn about themselves and others through a range of experiences enhancing their golf skills as well as their fundamental values for life. These life lessons are taught through a variety of golf related activities with the primary goal of having fun.
As a host facility, the Golf Courses of Kenton County has the opportunity to impact the lives of young Kenton County residents. The life lessons that are learned through “The First Tee” are lessons that will remain with these young people well into their future, regardless of how long they play golf for recreation.
We are proud to announce that The Golf Courses of Kenton County will participate in the nationally recognized PGA JR League for the 2019 season! This is a great opportunity for our junior golfers!
PGA Junior League Golf incorporates a “Little League” approach to the great game of golf, where every youngster gets the chance to play. Designed to better socialize the game of golf for juniors ages 7 to 13, PGA Junior League Golf features a team vs. team format in a structured league, which provides for a more popular, less stressful competition. The emphasis is on fun, recreation, and the sportsmanship of the game for players of any skill level.
To Sign Up: Click the link below, type in “41051” in the “find a team” section and follow the directions to register your junior golfer.
Participating Juniors will practice (days TBD) from May through June and be eligible to participate in our summer junior golf instructional league on Mondays. Matches will take place on Sunday afternoons in May and June.
We are excited to announce the addition of Nike Junior Golf Camps to our facility this summer! We are one of only two Nike affiliated golf camps in the state of Kentucky this season.
FULL DAY CAMPS | Full Day Camps run from 9am – 4pm and are an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to improve their fundamentals and their course management skills. Campers in the full day program enjoy three hours of instruction each morning focusing on all facets of the game. After a lunch, which is included in the price of the camp, it’s off to play the course. During course play, the staff teaches scoring strategy, etiquette and course management.
HALF DAY CAMPS | Half Day Camps run from 9am – 12pm and include fifteen total hours of instruction on the driving range and practice areas. For three hours each day, campers sharpen their skills with strong emphasis on the basics—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. As the week unfolds, campers receive quality short-game coaching and by the last day each junior golfer will see improvement in his or her golf game! Half Day Camps do NOT include lunch or course play.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS | Three hours of daily practice with our experienced staff covering all facets of the game; putting, chipping/pitching, full-swing. Daily, supervised course play with camp staff (full day camp only). Camper amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate. Safe, healthy and positive learning environment designed to help every camper get better!
